WordPress website
Client: The Community’s Foundation
The Community’s Foundation provides grants and scholarships to their community in Pennsylvania. They applied through Catchafire for a designer & developer to help them create a new website. Their old site was outdated and difficult to update. It was time for a change!
Elizabeth Sass, owner of The Virtual Sass, asked me to join the project as the WordPress developer. She provided me with excellent design files that I was able to convert into a WordPress website. In addition, TCF requested a Facebook feed page, a page listing previous scholarship recipients, and assistance changing their web server to WP Engine. I also created a “How-to” page, accessible via the admin page, that explained how to make future edits as TCF needed.
Heather was great to work with. She was very organized and made decisions quickly. Elizabeth created a great design and I recommend her highly if you’re looking for a clean, modern website. She liked working with me too:
“Lisa Savoie constructed our non-profit’s website, managed the launch, and provided documentation/training to ensure that my staff is equipped to maintain the website long-term. Throughout this process, Lisa exceeded our expectations. She is knowledgeable, yet also capable of communicating clearly with non-technical staff. She works efficiently; this project was completed well ahead of our anticipated launch date. She communicates clearly and regularly. Importantly, her work product is extremely high quality. But, perhaps even more importantly, the process itself was seamless and dare I say it… enjoyable!”
Heather Finnegan, Executive Director, TCF
“Lisa is an absolutely fabulous designer/developer, and my favorite to work with, especially on NPO projects. She has an incredible talent to take what other designers make visually and turn them into reality! We worked together on the TCF site and it couldn’t be more beautiful. She nailed the transition from Adobe XD to WordPress. I Highly recommend her for everything from website updates to complete overhaul projects!”
