Writing blog posts

I’ve been confident in my writing since college. My minor was in history which means writing several papers every semester. I can crank out twelve pages on just about any subject without a sweat.

Where the effort really came in was the rewrite. Crafting the language. Making sure I was succinct yet still clear. And this was back in the typewriter days! Imagine the pain of changing my mind and knowing that I would have to retype the whole paper! 🙁

Now I write blog posts and I’ve got to say, my goal is MVP and better done than perfect. I’ve taken the advice of many more experienced bloggers who recommend focusing more on capturing my thoughts after completing a project than creating Pulitzer winning prose.

And frankly, I’m probably the only person who’ll see these 🙂
